Job Brief
Prime Trust is seeking a Crypto Security Engineer who has crypto experience and is passionate about securing innovative products that scale. This position will interact with stakeholders across Engineering, QA, IT, Operations, and Product Management. The Security Engineer is responsible for defining and managing projects to enhance Prime Trust’s security posture. This individual will work closely with infrastructure and system operations teams to help keep our infrastructure secure. The role will work to enhance our security initiatives and will have responsibility for escalated incidents and overseeing configuration changes and enhancements.
The ideal candidate will be a builder who will need to dive deep into a large number of unknowns, using their security expertise to identify opportunities, architect, build, and implement solutions to build more secure infrastructure, systems, and services.
This position will partner with Product and Engineering to build the team's roadmap, taking disparate requests from customers, gathering data, and prioritizing security work that will positively impact Prime Trust’s customers. Customer obsession, strong ownership, and an ability to deal with ambiguity are critical for this role.

Experience and Skills
Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, Information Systems or equivalent work experience
Working Conditions - This job is available for either remote or in office work. Culture is energetic, interactive, and growth oriented, far more of a fin tech environment than a traditional financial institution
