Rackspace’s Public Cloud Security and Collaboration team is looking for a leader to both manage the service line’s product management function and to act as lead product manager for our Cloud Collaboration business focused on M365. This role will report into the VP for the Public Cloud Security and Collaboration. As a product owner for Cloud Collaboration, this individual will own the roadmap and execution of operations related to our current M365 business. This role will be responsible for achieving top line revenue and bookings growth, monitoring the overall state of the business, and understanding customer requirements and needs. A critical success factor will be building and executing on a product roadmap with a focus on monetizable services leveraging our M365 customer base as well as working with sales, marketing, and Microsoft to grow Rackspace’s share of M365 licensing opportunities. As leader of the Product Management team for Cloud Security and Collaboration, this individual will manage, mentor, and grow a small team of product managers, architects, and engineers for both security and collaboration. Critical to success will be the ability to hire and manage a team of high performing professionals, leading product execution, and identifying opportunities to leverage IP and expertise to build unique capabilities across both security and collaboration.Job Description:• Lead team of product managers, architects, and engineers for the service line o Work with leadership to develop team and individual objectives, enable and support team member success o Coach team members on career growth and tactical professional and technical matters, holding them accountable to deliverables as required o Build and maintain a joint Security and Collaboration roadmap, coordinating with key stakeholders in delivery, software engineering, marketing, and sales as needed o Leverage team members and own expertise to understand our offers and how they achieve customer outcomes• Build and manage M365 related services offers and customer adoption journeys based on overall strategy, customer feedback, industry trends, and other research, coordinating with subject matter experts across Rackspace and our partners as required• Own the execution of the roadmap, coordinate with internal engineering and delivery teams as well as selected partners• Define services and technical product requirements and use cases• Build relationships and coordinate Microsoft on how to build and grow Rackspace business• Develop a build/buy/partner framework for evaluating how to fill services gaps• Work with Engineering and Software Development teams to manage and prioritize product backlog• Collaborate with delivery for professional and managed services to build capacity and skill set planning models• Perform market research to inform the roadmap and understand the competition• Coordinate with marketing on GTM planning and collateral development• Support sales on customer calls to pursue deals and gather customer feedback• Enable sales with training appropriate to positioning and supporting the product• Work with marketing to develop appropriate collateral, perform PR, and communicate bi-directionally with analysts• Develop business cases for new offers and releasesRequirements:• 7+ years of product management, or equivalent, with exposure to professional and managed services, and a proven track record of ownership and success growing products and services• 3+ years of management experience, with experience managing managers a plus Significant exposure and knowledge of cloud collaboration business with a focus on M365• Ability to define and launch innovative services products• Experience working with Agile engineering teams• Experience working with partners in the development and delivery of service products• Demonstrated ability to communicate with stakeholders clearly, experience communicating with industry analysts• Ability to own execution without continuous oversight• Demonstrated flexibility to wear multiple hats as required• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred• Ability to work within a remote teamThe following information is required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of Colorado. The anticipated starting pay range of Colorado applicants for this role is $126,000 –$166,000.
