This high-visibility position is responsible for delivering our promise of a safe and secure work environment for Amazonians by managing day-to-day security operations, special events, key customer engagements, budget, and other security-related projects. This role collaborates with other Security Managers and cross-functional teams as required. This role may require as much as 40% travel. Key job responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day security operations for Prime Air facilities
- Organize and manage security for special events
- Key customer engagements
- Budget for all security needs within your assigned area
- Collaborates with other Security Managers and safety managers on regular basis
Export License ControlThis position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of applicable work experience
- 3 years of experience with progressive program management roles or equivalent experience ideally on a corporate or government security team
- 3 years of experience managing strategic business operations and program plans
- Substantive experience in physical security and technology
- Skilled in the management and use of SharePoint, Tableau, or other collaboration and work management software
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of crisis operations, risk management, and crisis communication best practices
- Experience in providing security oversight at settings with sensitive data and projects
- Experienced in corporate security for a global company
- Experience writing and publishing security standards and policies
- Skilled in developing metrics and in conducting security-related trend analysis
- Experience in conducting basic investigations / fact finding
- Ability to design, develop, and deliver security awareness training programs
- Understanding of business continuity and incident command system
- Experience with the collection and analysis of threat intelligence
