Sr. Information Security Engineer

What you'll be doing:

• Conceive of and collaborate on novel ideas to identify risks at scale and building tools and scripts
• Rapidly prototype to assess the efficiency of project ideas.
• Stay on top of groundbreaking Data Security standard methodologies, and tools, assessing their utility at Anaplan.
• Understand new technologies and their strengths/weaknesses in the context of Data Security tooling.
• We perform operational security reviews of feature implementations
• Define policies, standards and implement data security controls on private and public cloud
• Perform risk assessments of new and emerging threat types
• Collaborate with Software Engineering and QA teams by implementing automated security unit and functional tests

More about you:

• Knowledge of specific technologies associated with data protection, data governance, artificial intelligence, cognitive thinking as well as cloud technologies (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS), directory, database, federation, authorization, authentication, provisioning, mobility, mobile applications, etc.
• Sophisticated comprehension of cryptography components, standards, and protocols such as PKI, Key management (software and hardware based), key lifecycle, digital certificates, SSL/TLS, SSH, integration into overall security architecture and means to operationalize.
• Ability to create security architecture diagrams.
• Broad awareness of security protocols including identity (federated identity protocols), access management, application security, encryption (at rest, in transit, in use) and regulations including cyber security legislation practices, privacy, restrictions of geographic locations, etc.
• Understanding of network concepts TCP/IP, DNS, Load balancing, NTP, switching and routing.
• Scripting (e.g. Python) or coding
• Ability to drive adoption of security architecture standards
• Highly motivated with cross disciplinary technical experience to drive security architecture from view of architecture standards, assessment, design, and implementation.
• B.S, Masters, or 8-10 years of proven experience
• Advantage: Holds one or security certification such as CISSP, CDPSE , CISM
