This position requires an experienced professional with a track record of excellence in the field of systems engineering and software quality. The candidate will be an accomplished leader with a strong organizational capability and ability to command respect from the talented teams he or she will help lead and coordinate.

The Role:

• Identify, document, and manage System test & validation requirements at Vehicle level for in-house/supplier ECUs
• Lead and Perform in country System SW validation includes field testing to qualify the Software release
• Design, maintain and execute localized tests specific to each country and perform integration, regression, performance test
• Drive decisions on test strategies with collaboration between quality assurance, validation, development, and product teams
• Align and support SQA processes and activities within functional areas such as System, Hardware and Safety
• Coordinate and communicate Test progress, Test status, Test reports with globally distributed teams
• Identify gaps and areas for improvements and drive to a solution
• Mentor and guide junior team members

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 7-10 years with hands-on experience in creating and executing test cases supporting validation of large-scale programs & products
• 7+ Years of experience in end-to-end Software System validation
• 6+ Years of experience Automotive testing
• 4+ Years of QA/Test lead experience for a feature or System
• 2+ Years of automation experience in automating the application testing and/or tool development
• Experience with languages like Python, C, C++ is a plus
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Test case management Tool
• A proven track record of driving organizational change
• Experience using Agile/Scrum/Sprint methodology as well as waterfall methodology
• Experience with software development best practices
• BS minimum in an engineering discipline (Automotive,computer science, electrical engineering, Mechanical or similar)
• Proficiency in German and /or Dutch
