Job Description: Senior Systems Security Analyst

XOR Security is currently seeking a Senior Systems Security Analyst to support an Agency-level Advanced Cyber Analytics team. The position will respectively focus on comprehensive understanding of network/cloud security architecture and design, vulnerability management, and Federal vulnerability reporting standards.  To support this vital mission, XOR staff are on the forefront of providing Advanced Analytics, Cyber Offense, and Systems Engineering support to include the development of advanced analytics and countermeasures to protect critical assets from hostile adversaries. Strong written and verbal communications skills are a must. 

Location: Rockville, MD - Primarily REMOTE with some travel

Required Qualifications:

• This position requires a minimum of 10 years of Cybersecurity experience and a Bachelor of Art or Bachelor of Science in any discipline from an accredited University is required. Master of Science preferred.
• The Senior Systems Security Analyst must have comprehensive understanding of network/cloud security architecture and design, vulnerability management, and Federal vulnerability reporting standards (e.g., Security Content Automation Protocol).
• This individual must demonstrate technical expertise with various cloud and security assessment and monitoring tools such as AWS Services, Splunk, and Tenable products.
• Deep understanding of FISMA, the Privacy Act and the associated requirements of these Acts (FDCC, USGCB, DISA/CIS hardening requirements). 
• One of the following certs required ISC2’s Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification and/or ISACA’s Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.
