About the role:

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. We are looking for a passionate security operation center engineer to lead our initiatives in threat detection and security monitoring.  There will be many collaboration effort between various business and engineering teams.  A successful candidate would drive the effort to identify, design and develop the best technical and field solution to identify incoming threats.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of key security monitoring to gain visibility into the risk status of systems
• Collaborate across teams to identify risks in the systems and recommend industry best practices
• Participate in risk assessment and remediations of the product feature design

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience with 2+ years as a leader in SOC functions
• In-depth development of use cases
• Strong background in threat hunting, threat detection, MITRE framework, various killchains, etc.
• In-depth design and development experience on public cloud services such as AWS, GCP and/or Azure
• Background in SRE such as Terraform, Kubernetes, EKS, istio, Helm Chart, etc.
• Prior experience leading development of security infrastructure for mission critical SaaS applications
• Experience in operating security functions in compliance environment such as HITRUST/SOC 2 is highly desirable
