Senior Product Director, Healthcare and Government Services -- US Remote

Rackspace is looking for a Senior Director to own and rapidly evolve our managed and professional services portfolio for government solutions.  This role is critical to building new, flexible offers focused on ISVs and Government customers who require secure, compliant hosting within Rackspace’s private cloud and on top of our public cloud partners.  With your team, including direct reports and extended team members, this role will act as business and subject matter expert managing the roadmap, feature set, and overall business results for Rackspace’s Government Solutions.  This includes working with product managers, engineering, delivery, development, automation, and compliance to build new solutions or enhance current solutions for US FedRAMP compliant hosting and UK government hosting or building new solutions to meet evolving needs.  This also includes working with the marketing team to develop and improve collateral, engaging with prospects and customers to gather insights, managing customer issues, and engaging in sales enablement and pursuit as well as any other activities needed to execute on Rackspace’s business strategy. Job Description:·       Build and manage Rackspace Government for secure, compliant hosting in the US and UK·       Lead a team of product managers, architects, and engineers as well as manage and influence cross functionally across multiple stakeholders with competing priorities to achieve business objectives·       Ensure products meet requirements to support needed Impact Levels and are able to achieve and maintain a FedRAMP ATO or meet requirements for UK government hosting including CHECK penetration testing and others·       Own the definition and execution of the roadmap, coordinating with internal engineering, compliance, and delivery teams as well as selected partners·       Define product requirements and use cases·       Build relationships and coordinate across hyperscalers such as AWS, Microsoft, and Google as well as Rackspace’s software partners and internal leaders for Rackspace Private Cloud·       Develop a build/buy/partner framework for evaluating how to fill product gaps·       Work with Engineering to manage and prioritize product backlog·       Collaborate with delivery to build capacity and skill set planning models·       Perform market research to inform the roadmap and understand the competition·       Coordinate with marketing on GTM planning and collateral development·       Support sales on customer calls to pursue deals and gather customer feedback·       Enable sales with training appropriate to positioning and supporting the product·       Work with marketing to develop appropriate collateral, perform PR, and communicate bi-directionally with analysts·       Develop business cases for new offers and releasesRequirements:·       10+ years of relevant experience in product management, hosting, cloud services, IT management, federal compliance, or information security with a track record of success; 5+ years of managerial responsibility·       Significant exposure and knowledge of US government regulations, standards, and compliance requirements including FedRAMP, NIST, DISA, and others; Knowledge of UK regulations and standards a plus·       Exposure and knowledge of cloud security and hosting market with knowledge of at least one of the following: VMWare, AWS, Azure, Google·       Ability to define and launch innovative services products·       Experience working with Agile engineering teams·       Experience working with partners in the development and delivery of service products·       Demonstrated ability to communicate with stakeholders clearly, experience communicating with industry analysts·       Proven ability to lead, develop, mentor, and retain team members·       Ability to own execution without continuous oversight·       Demonstrated flexibility to wear multiple hats as required·       Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred·       Ability to work within a remote teamThe following information is required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of Colorado. The anticipated starting pay range of Colorado applicants for this role is $173,200 –$233,500.
