Atlassian's engineering team is responsible for shaping the future by helping thousands of teams all around the world get work done. Please note, we are open to candidates based in France, Germany, UK, Netherlands or Poland. As a Senior JavaDeveloper well into your career, we know you're excellent at what you do and we do appreciate your desire to continue growing your skills as a developer. In Atlassian, working in user management stream, you'll have the chance to show your experience by leading complex projects and directly contributing to problem resolution. During your Atlassian journey we'll place heavy emphasis on creating growth opportunities that you'll realise as a part of your regular work. In user management stream this will come through a chance to design and lead the development of solutions that are related to user/group management and authentication process in the Data Center products. We'll rely on your expertise to solve customer problems across the broad user management area. In the process of reaching those goals you will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

In this role, you'll get the chance to:

    • Guide projects independently, from technical design to launch
    • Gain deep technical knowledge of Atlassian products and tools supporting work with Atlassian stack
    • Conduct the investigations and troubleshooting of the complex issues
    • Apply architectural standards and start using them on new projects
    • Contribute to code reviews
    • Write useful technical documentation
    • Mentor other team members
    • Code in Java and Spring framework
    • Develop user management solution (including Crowd) that is affecting all Data Center products
