Job Profile Summary The Enterprise Architect will be a leader in strategy and innovation in the evaluation of existing systems and technologies and development of strategic solutions and blueprints to solve stated business challenges in Service Delivery. The incumbent will focus on evaluating and developing technical strategies for migrating home-grown ticketing, ITOM, CMDB, Knowledge Management, & CSM applications into the ServiceNow platform. The architect will develop baseline, transition, and future state architectures for enabling a state of art world class service delivery function for Rackspace. The architect collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure that technology decisions and blueprints align with the overall Enterprise Architecture Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs the overall strategy, architecture, and process improvements for the Enterprise Service Delivery Platform.
- Analyzes monolith applications in CSM, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, & Knowledge Management domains to develop baseline, transition, and target architectures for migrating them to the ServiceNow platform.
- Maintains an organization-wide view of current and future business and application architecture in support of goals and objectives.
- Provides thought leadership and expertise in the development of standards, architectural governance, design patterns and IT practices.
- Participates, collaborates in development of current, transitional, and future state architectures for application consolidation and modernization initiatives
- Builds detailed and extensible solution architectures in ITSM, ITOM, CSM domains that align requirements, reference architectures design patterns and technology standards to achieve solution agility and speed to implementation
- Leads initiatives to reduce costs and maximize ROI in collaboration with stakeholders, technology, and business leaders
- Partners with Enterprise Architecture team, stakeholders, Portfolio leadership team to develop roadmaps, mergers, and acquisition strategies
- Ability to establish rapport and drive consensus and change at all levels of the organization.

- Deep expertise around industry best practices in the various aspects of IT, technology trends, enterprise operations knowledge and the ability to develop solutions to implement key business strategies.
- Excellent knowledge of architecture frameworks, application services, messaging backbone, application integration and architecture patterns.
Qualifications
- Experience with migrating home grown ITSM, ITOM, CSM, CMDB applications into the ServiceNow platform
- Experience in migrating ticketing platforms to ServiceNow
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience with TOGAF/ZACMAN framework and architecture tools. Prefers certifications in any of these frameworks.
- Deep functional and technical experience in at least three or four domains/functions of ITSM, CSM, ITOM, CMDB, Knowledge Management, ticketing integrations (e-bonding).
- Experience in converting & migrating monolith applications into modern SaaS, cloud-based applications
- Minimum of 12 years experience in IT with atlest 8 years in designing and architecting solutions.
- Experience in any public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, presentation skills to influence senior executives towards future state solutions and architectures.
- Self-motivated and quick learner with ability to switch context across domains and projects

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field required
Physical Demands
- General office environment. Moderate levels of stress may occur at times. May require long periods sitting and viewing a computer monitor. No special physical demands required. Schedule flexibility to include working a weekend day regularly and holidays as required by the business for 24/7 operations.
Travel
- Occasional travel, less than 10%.
