Senior DevOps Engineer

Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.Your future teamAtlassian Jira Data Center team is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about building and releasing products that are used by millions of users all over the world. We want you to become a part of the team that works on building and releasing the Jira Data Center products, and focuses on improving the engineering efficiency.

What you'll do:

• Build and release Jira Data Center products
• Perform release management and collaborate across teams
• Improve release process
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Improve engineering efficiency, development and release cycle times
• Contribute to code reviews and documentation

Your background:

• DevOps practices and the related skillset (scripting, configuration as code, release engineering, CI/CD )
• Release management and process improvements
• 2+ years of experience with Maven
• Experience with Java web applications (2+ years) and practical knowledge of Java
• Solid expertise in Git
• Design CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins)
• Good scripting skills (Python, Bash, Groovy)
• Experience with Platform/Infrastructure-As-a-Service providers, such as AWS & Azure
• Excellent cross-team collaboration skills
• Fluent English (both spoken and written)
