Security Engineer - Splunk

Who you are:

• 3+ years of experience in security monitoring, log aggregation, alert structures, and managing SIEM implementations.
• Strong background with Splunk specific skills such as an understanding of Data Models, administering Enterprise Security and the inner workings of the platform.
• Past work with SOC/IR teams and an understanding of how they operate. 
• Experienced with deploying and building Splunk to be highly-available and scalable.
• Have built and understand Splunk Processing Language (SPL).
• Passionate about cybersecurity, have a strong work ethic and always looking to learn more about trends in the field. 

What you will do:

• Implement solutions that automate visibility and anomaly detection - becoming a Subject Matter Expert in information architecture.
• Design dashboards to capture metrics from the SOC & generate appropriate alerting within SIEM to trigger investigations.
• Gain exposure to an array of security tool integrations and build out sophisticated playbooks that can be used at the enterprise level.
• Collaborate with technologists from across the business including architects, developers, security analysts and other engineers.
