Risk and Compliance Analyst

Our responsibilities include risk discovery and assessment, advisory, mitigation and controls oversight, compliance oversight, and reporting. Our purpose is to provide methodologies, structures, processes and oversight to allow identification and management of risk throughout the environment. We work with virtually every team within the organisation - Trust (we are part of it), Security, Legal, Marketing, Finance, Customer Support, all product groups, People, the executive team. We also collaborate with partners, vendors, consultants and customers.You'll report to the Risk and Compliance Manager.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Risk & Compliance Analyst who loves connecting with people and who is full of ideas to contribute to a high growth, software company! As an Analyst, you will work with the Risk & Compliance team, business and technology managers, and subject matter experts to coordinate and bring efforts related to product compliance, corporate compliance, risk management, and business resilience.

What you'll do

• Connect with internal teams to understand their business processes and control environment
• Analyse the environment, discover and assess controls
• Analyse existing, or propose new controls and mitigation plans, and lead aspects of their implementation
• Discover and contribute to opportunities for continuous control monitoring
• Provide regular status updates ensuring partners are aware of progress and road-blocks

Your background:

• You are comfortable working with technical leads and SMEs to analyse processes and business models.
• You are open to new challenges, strong at multi-tasking, be creative,and a great teammate.
• You will guide continuous process improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams, to solve problems and implement new solutions.
• Having the ability to collaborate with multiple global teams with some level of ambiguity and uncertainty.

On your first day, we would expect you to have

• 3+ years of experience within Technology Risk Management, Compliance, Information Security or Internal Auditing
• Understanding of the software development business
• Experience with control and risk frameworks, performing compliance and risk assessments, designing controls.
• Apply abbreviations like SOC2, ISO 27000, SOX in a highly dynamic environment
