About the Role Fasten your seatbelt and climb aboard if you are ready to be our Senior Merchant Engagement. Based in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, you will be responsible to support our sales team to cater to Gojek merchants’ onboarding and support strategic relationships with service establishments and preferred merchant partners. You will work closely with other teams both within the region & in HQ, actively working to broaden and deepen our merchant relationships and expand our reach in new market segments.
What You Will Do
- Plan and manage the merchant marketing department's budget, liaise with the VN consumer marketing team on in-app assets sharing, and channel performance report to update and request the marketing assets.
- Run ads for self-serve onboarding tools via different channels
- Manage performance marketing activities (traffic, AVG Engage Time, CR, CTR, etc) across social media channels
- Develop Merchant Core Communication & fulfillment (including onboarding communications, loyalty, and engagement communications to be delivered through digital channels)
- Participate in conceptualizing marketing strategies & partnership campaigns for the Merchant team
- Collaborate with different teams, stakeholders, external vendors, and agencies for execution/ad-hoc work
- Handle other administrative work such as contract, appendix, payment request, internal process documentation
- Provide guidance and support in optimizing local merchant marketing activities and perception of coverage in new industry segments, and develop the tailored value proposition, covering key financial and marketing activities and tool kits (including presentation templates, point of purchase material, etc)
- Develop Merchant Core Communication & fulfillment (including onboarding communications, loyalty, and engagement communications to be delivered through digital channels)
- Assist Merchant team in special projects as needed, e.g., customized programs, merchant and/or signature brand events, added-value fulfillment, etc.
- Ensure deadlines for merchant marketing projects and be able to work both independently and within a team
- Collaborate with merchant business teams across all markets to understand the client and/or market objectives by translating ideas into business-level requirements
What You Will Need
- At least 3 years of experience
- Undergraduate degree, Marketing concentration preferred
- Good command in EN
- Data reporting skills (Google Sheet, etc)
- Demonstrate account development/ customer service experience
- Strong customer/ merchant partner focus and project management skills preferred
- Demonstrated ability to drive results, strong analytical skills
- Ability to conceptualize and sell ideas
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Detail and deadline oriented
- Team player/individual contributor with a desire to function in a flexible, changing, sometimes ambiguous environment
About the Team Our merchant team is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and we have one main goal: to strengthen our GoFood market share in Vietnam. The merchant team aims to create an ecosystem of solutions to support our partner merchants on the Gojek platform to manage better and grow their business. Our partner merchants are one of the core stakeholders in our Gojek ecosystem.
