We've just promoted someone internally in our Network Operations Centre, meaning that we need an NOC Engineer to come and join the team and have an impact on millions of daily users. As our new Junior NOC Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Be an integral part of providing network support services to all parts of DAZN's global infrastructure (including all offices and Data centres)
- Triage and investigate LAN & WAN fault reports
- Handle faults and handle escalations through to resolution (including liaising with 3rd party suppliers).
- Manage internal and external faults and work with suppliers to help resolve issues within SLA.
- Look after supplier changes and ensure their work does not impact DAZN.
- Learn and develop networking knowledge within a Cisco hardware environment.
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
- Basic knowledge of IT Networks, switching and routing technologies.
- Proactive approach to dealing with 3rd parties.
- Good communication skills for professional communication with external parties and internal emails and chats
- Basic understanding of Network Monitoring Concepts and management tools.
- Able to collate and interpret data from various sources.
- Good organisation skill and able to assess faults, prioritise, respond and escalate accordingly.
- Interest in pursuing a career as a network engineer.
- Flexibility with working hours as a small number of nights could be required to cover colleagues where required.
Even better if you have:
- Proven track record within a 1st line technical support role environment.
- Change management or worked within an ITIL environment
