Pacific Timezone (West Coast US through to Australia).As the new Global Leader of TA for Product, Programs & Customer Experience (PPCX) you'll take on a newly created role working with existing teams across APAC and USA to develop a clear unique, quality-driven strategy to attract R&D talent across Product, Design, Program Management and other important functions.Working with regional leaders in APAC and USA you'll develop new strategies blending an experience-driven approach to stand out in talent markets pitting the Atlassian proposition against consumer and business brands in the SaaS world. Where there are opportunities to accelerate growth, you'll partner with the business and People Team to develop strategies to hire at scale for the first time in crafts where typically we have hired role by role.Working with peer leaders across the experienced hire recruiting function and reporting to the Global Head of Experienced Hire, you'll bring attention to qualitative moments that matter. You'll focus on building stronger partnerships with leaders across our Product, Customer Experience and Programs/Operations departments, cultivating success against our DEI goals and embedding the behaviors and strategies to support this. You'll build flexible recruiting models blending full-time recruiting and sourcing teams with augmented support. You'll use targeted campaigns that unlock new talent pools through our commitment to distributed working through Team Anywhere.With a first team mindset you'll make space for your own leaders and teams to drive outcomes while contributing and driving global success for the experienced hire function.
What you'll do:
- Work closely with regional recruiting leaders to unlock hiring capacity and delivery execution to accelerate Atlassian’s growth journey to 25,000 diverse and distributed team members. You’ll build the right shape and size of recruiting delivery teams to meet future demand ahead of time
- Partner closely with our TABPs and partners across the business and people teams to implement recruiting strategies which accelerate our growth journey with a clear foundation in the niche specialisms we hire for
- You’ll develop experiential recruiting experiences for the crafts your teams hire partnering with business teams and talent brand to position us clearly as an employer of choice in highly competitive markets
- You’ll own our hiring goals for product, programs and customer experience recruiting for volume and qualitative measures. Specifically you’ll own and drive DEI initiatives in partnership with the engineering org
- Use data as an enabler and guide for team performance and the foundation for strong business relationships
Your background:
- You’ll have a managed teams delivering high quality experiences for niche hiring, building the appropriate recruiting model, inclusive of FTEs, contractors and RPOs, to flexibly meet demand and grow with a business. It’s likely this experience has been gained with a specific focus on product or design hiring during your career
- Ideally you’ll have developed managers/leaders enabling them to take day to day ownership of recruiting goals for their teams and build empowered advisors who partner with the business. If not leaders you’ll have managed recruiting teams which are impactful in their partnership
- You’ll have developed a trusted track record as an in-house recruiting leader working with product, design and/or program leaders
- You’ll be a connector, understanding the enabling power of partner teams such as finance, total rewards, and talent to drive the right outcomes for organisation growth as well as delivering hiring goals
- You’ll have used data to effectively build strong relationships with business leaders and understand risks and opportunities in engineering talent pipelines
