Join us.Enterprise “Partner” Architects within the R&D team are responsible for providing technical sales enablement for Optiv clients, perspective clients and Optiv internal teams. This involves maintaining and vocalizing subject matter expertise on a given technology. Enterprise Architects position technologies to maximize effectiveness across all supported use cases driving the best outcome for our clients.  

How You'll Make An Impact

• Present and discuss in detail, assigned Palo Alto Network's Next Generation Firewall solutions, technologies and use cases
• Develop and document use cases 
• Develop technical sales tools and technical documentation
• Build both scripted and interactive demonstrations
• Host client POCs workshops
• Create/update Best Practice Guides
• Develop systems integrations
• Provide training to Optiv’s pre-sales team 
• Develop product solutions offering matrix
• Provide SKU guidance
• Develop bundling strategies
• Develop services mapping guides 
• Work with the demand team on scoping 
• Transactional support for sales
• Consistency between messaging and services
• Shadow delivery with consulting 
• Align with client architects on key questions to ensure maximum use of acquired technology
• Workshops (no longer than half day)
• Provide up-sell guidance based on key use cases and indicators
• Build best practice assessment guides and workshops for clients
• Escalation point for Optiv Services 

Requirements & Qualifications

• Technical expert in Palo Alto Networks Next-gen firewalls 
• Technical expert in the Palo Alto Network's Netsec products
• Highest level of technical certification(s) with Palo Alto Network's Netsec
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise class firewall deployment, migrations and upgrades
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in technology category
• Both Pre-Sales and Post-Sales experience
• Prior public speaking experience
• Superior writing skills
