As an intern within the Content Design team, you'll be empowered to experiment with a variety of approaches to information in the UI, documentation, supporting materials, and anywhere else our customers engage with content. You'll work with writers, designers, developers, product managers, marketers, and support engineers to ensure that the stories we tell are consistent and create a great experience for our customers. As an intern, you'll gain the experience in the agile software development process, Atlassian tools, user research, content strategy, and collaborate with a team to kickstart your career.This program is open to penultimate year university students with Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Permanent Residency. More about you:
- Be able to commit to a 12 week full-time (38hrs / week) internship from late November 2023 until late February 2024. We may be able to flex on this slightly if your course timetable does not allow for a 12 week placement during this timeframe.
- Be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters in English, Communications, Media, Design, Art History, Technical Writing, Linguistics, or Computer Science, and completing your studies by January 2025.
- Be able to write and edit high-quality content (such as articles, blogs, or websites)
- Be able to follow writing standards (including grammar, style, voice and tone)
- Be able to explain complex topics to a variety of audiences
- Have knowledge of design thinking and processes (critiques, user journeys, personas)
