Look no further and apply for the role today!Your future teamAs the Channel Business Development team, we help to expand the footprint of Atlassian in key markets and industries, with a specific focus on our enterprise customer segment. Since you will be working with Strategic partners across a diverse range of solution areas, you will need a broad understanding of enterprise software channel business including channel sales, channel strategy and market development. Most importantly, you will work closely with teams across Atlassian - including sales, marketing, product development and others - to build success.
What you'll do
- Collaborate across Atlassian to develop new business models for our partner ecosystem
- Assist in the identification & recruitment of strategic channel targets
- Team with our Legal organization to successfully complete negotiated contracts
- Align with our channel field organization to incubate new partners
- Assess partnership options for new solution areas including vertical / line of business
- Lead collaboration efforts with our broader technology ecosystem & marketplace partners
- Work across our channel team to ensure successful outcomes for your region and globally
- Successfully deploy investment funds to launch new strategic partnerships
- Actively align with Channel Programs & Channel Success in the creation and deployment of all new partnership models.
Your background
- You have extensive Channel experience including strategic partnerships
- You have a background that includes contract negotiations and business modeling
- You have cross functional experience working with channel program teams, channel marketing and sales & services teams
- You bring strong communication skills - both through language and cultural understanding across the Americas region and globally
- You have an understanding of how to deliver as a cross-functional leader by engaging with and influencing other groups within the organization
- You will focus and drive channel initiatives, but also keep an eye on the business as a whole
- You bring a proven record of meeting or exceeding performance metrics - both sales as well as non-revenue targets
