Job purpose
In this role, you will undertake investigative projects, write clear, detailed and analytical reports and communicate effectively with our clients, helping Control Risks build relationships
Tasks and responsibilities
- Play a leading role in delivery of small to medium-scale investigative assignments in South Asia.
- A key member of teams delivering large, multijurisdictional assignments.
- Respond to client-requests, write and co-ordinate compelling proposals.
- Provide day-to-day operational support to other members of the practice to ensure effective management and prioritisation of all incoming client request and outgoing deliverables.
- Demonstrate knowledge of client needs relating to the investigations practice and strategic approaches to addressing these needs.
- Exhibit confidence, maturity and experience in engaging with clients.
- Supports several small to mid-sized projects, with minimal supervision
- Assists and supports senior team member in presenting and educating prospective and current clients (eg: prepares presentation)
Requirements
Knowledge and experience
Essential
- At least three to five years of forensic accounting or fraud & financial investigations experience at a leading professional services firm.
- Proven experience in delivering investigations assignments in South Asia.
- Excellent analytical, presentation and reporting skills.
- Demonstrates client management skills, has the ability to assess client needs and interact confidently and effectively with clients, listening and creatively addressing their needs.
- Flexible in adapting to evolving priorities during the course of an investigation.
- Strong commercial focus.
- Relevant university degree. Preferably an accounting background
- Close attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple commitments under time pressure.
