Vice President - MYS CTSM KL - AP TTS In Business Control - Cyber Security & 3rd Party Management - Hybrid

  • The TTS In-business Risk & Control (IBC) organization is primarily responsible to work hand-in glove with TTS product. Operations & technology for maintaining robust risk & control framework that enables effective risk & control identification, mitigation, monitoring and escalation.
  • The TTS APAC Cyber Security and Third-Party Officer is a key role as part of Citi’s Cyber Security, and Third-Party Risk Management programs.  While the focus on the role will be on Cyber Security and Third- Party Management, other related Information Security and Continuity of Business (COB) activities for TTS Front office, will also be covered.
  • The role requires business product, process, system knowledge, expertise and will work in concert with business, operations, and technology teams, as well as country/ product In-business control in Asia and Globally, to identify, manage and mitigate risk.

The key responsibilities are:

  • Represent business leadership to coordinate Cyber Security, and Third-Party Risk Management including Information Security & COB activities
  • Cyber Security:
    • Manage APAC Cyber Playbook,
    • End-to end coordination of the Cyber exercises
    • Lead COB scenario planning
    • Ensure accurate cyber risk Impact assessment
    • Work with product, operations and technology in the countries, regions, and globe for appropriate cyber risk response & mitigation
    • Ensure cyber risk documentation, reporting and monitoring, if any
  • 3rd Party Management:
    • Manage the Front office third-party relationships across all stages of the lifecycle
    • Complete initial Risk Assessment for third party and re-evaluate as required
    • Verify third party’s compliance to required policies and controls
    • Develop, document and update Citi’s Exit Strategy Plans as required. 
    • Interact with third parties on escalations of non-performance and contractual issues to drive resolution when appropriate
    • Monitor third party performance and SLAs, either directly or through coordination with other Citi stakeholders
    • Maintain summary dashboard of third-party performance and understand performance, including SLA breaches
    • Maintain the list of SLAs/SOWs in Citi’s Contract Management System (eSourcing)
    • Review, assess and act on results of TPRM assessments/controls (e.g., IS, CoB, CBDC, Export, Credit Risk, Country Risk, Financial Evaluations)
    • Serve as point of contact to ensure that third party’s remediation of audit or exam issues
  • Info Security- work with the Asia TTS BISO to ensure that all TTS Front office Info Sec issues and CAPs are appropriately resolve including SIRTs and Technology Risk Exceptions.
  • COB- ensure that the all-TTS Front office units comply with the Citi COB policies including adequacy of plans, testing and COB system updates.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Relevant experience in the areas of Risk Management in Cyber security, 3rd party management and/ or Continuity of Business would be a clear advantage.
  • Knowledge of TTS product, operations and systems/ technology knowledge i.e. Liquidity, Commercial Cards, Payments & Receivable and Trade is a plus.
  • Broad knowledge of other risk areas, with risk impact in a financial services company is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate complex and sensitive issues to management. 
  • Proficient in MS Suite of applications

  • Ability to lead and coordinate projects, eg Cyber exercise with TTS seniors including ExCo and other Line 2 seniors. Ability to communicate strategic insights and updates with executive stakeholders
  • Excellent critical-thinking skills to recognize and comprehend and solve complex cyber scenarios.
  • Ability to understand and implement policies and procedures
  • Leadership capabilities of conflict resolution & problem solving
  • Capable of driving initiatives within businesses, function, and across the enterprise.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders
  • Strong team player and relationship management skills
