You are a curious person who loves digging deeper into puzzles and supporting your conclusions with rigorous data-driven reasoning, and you thrive on working with others to translate high-value business problems into quantitative questions. You will work closely with the Core Data team, interfacing with them to take advantage of The centralized Data Lake and Data Warehouse. The role additionally involves representing the viewpoint of the Data Engineering team when influencing the evolution of Lucid’s analytical infrastructure, liaising with Data and Software teams as needed.
Location: Remote work from California and Oregon is available.Role:
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, analyses, dashboards, etc. which drive key decisions.
- Help define the direction of Lucid’s analytics and influence the direction of the associated engineering and infrastructure work
- Consult and collaborate on the data analytics needs of the team
- Collaborate with the source system teams to manipulate large datasets and build data pipelines
- Design and develop analytical solutions with Tableau, Grafana, SQL and Python
- Participate in data strategy and road map exercises, business intelligence/data warehouse product selection
- Convey complex information to people who may not be specialists
Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Master's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or other quantitative fields
- 3+ years of work experience with business intelligence, data modeling, and statistical analysis
- Experience with data analytics, preferably in the automotive context
- Experience working directly with business users to build reports, and dashboards and solving business questions with data
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools like Tableau, Grafana, and similar tools
- Experience with a programming language such as Python
- Experience with time series analysis, multivariate models, hypothesis testing, A/B testing, inferential statistics, and causal analysis
- Advanced ability to draw insights from data and communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required
- Proficient with SQL and large-scale databases
- Continuous learning mindset - willingness to learn new skills and methods as needed
- Strong communication and presentation skills
