Aerosint is a young and growing company, located in Liège, Belgium. Founded in 2016, we develop a patented technology that allows us to selectively deposit powder layers made of several different materials (ceramics, metals and polymers). Aerosint is part of the Desktop Metal group, one of the market leaders in additive manufacturing.

In recent years, the field of 3D printing has experienced significant growth, pushing back the limits of what is possible, but until now, limited to the printing of single material parts. It is in this context that Aerosint has given itself the mission to revolutionize the world of additive manufacturing by bringing one of the most promising innovations: the printing of multi-material parts, thus opening up a very wide range of new applications

Responsibilities

• Being part of the software team, you will work on the 3D printer user interface, its internal software and its API. With the feedback of internal and external users, you will design and implement new features and improve them continuously.
• You will also develop custom solutions for research projects.
• You will be in contact with 3D design software editors to establish new workflows.
• You will build tools to collect, store and analyze data coming from the print jobs and help the team to improve the process.            

Requirements         

• You have a master’s degree in computer science or acquired equivalent experience.
• You have a successful working experience either in a company or in a collaborative project.
• Knowledge in computational geometry, flutter, python, and Linux is an asset.
• You have excellent communication skills in English (French is nice too).
• You are able to work independently and in a structured way.
• You are result-oriented and have a can-do attitude.
• You see technical problems as a challenge/opportunity.
