Site Reliability Engineer, Workplace Technology

Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.We are looking for a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. You will work closely with multiple teams to design, build, and maintain our infrastructure.

What you'll do:

• Design, build, and maintain our infrastructure.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. Re-architect existing systems to make them more resilient.
• Automate deployment and configuration management
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues
• Collaborate with development teams to improve system architecture
• Participate in on-call rotation

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (Primarily AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proficient in at least one programming language - preferably Python3.x
• Knowledge of python frameworks like Django/FastAPI
• Experience in Frontend languages like HTML+CSS, JS, Angular, React would be an added advantage.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation etc.)
• Strong understanding of Linux, Windows systems and networking
• Deep knowledge in system, application and network observability. Has worked on monitoring solutions like LogicMonitor, New Relic, Nagios, Sensu. Written custom plugins, checks for monitoring complex distributed systems and microservices. Experience in log aggregation and analysis
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines using platforms like Bitbucket Pipelines or Github Actions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Passionate about ensuring the reliability and scalability of large systems.
