What You'll Do: 

The Senior Director of Security Operations is a key leadership role focused on creating the security vision and strategy for Jamf Cloud Security. The Senior Director, Security Operations will lead our global Security Operations teams with 24x7 operational responsibilities for our most critical cloud services. They will own governance, risk, and compliance requirements for Jamf Cloud and implement best practices for a large-scale multi-cloud environment.

Security Operations at Jamf has a key role of working with Information Security, Architecture, Engineering teams to help teams define and deliver overall Jamf security expectations. The role will have both direct and matrix reporting responsibilities across organizations and will be responsible for leading people leaders across our security teams.

This individual will be a trusted business advisor providing education, awareness, and guidance to the senior leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify Information security goals and objectives in compliance with corporate governance, regulatory policy, and industry best practice
  • Accountable for security governance, incident response, risk management, vulnerability management, vendor security management and security education
  • Maintain a current understanding of the threat landscape that could potentially impact cloud operations and translate that knowledge into potential risks and actionable plans to protect the business
  • Ensure consistent communication to the company around our information security plans and execution
  • Represent Jamf security posture internally and collaborate with Information Security teams externally with sales, support, and contracts for customer facing requests
  • Communicate regularly with Jamf senior leadership regarding information security plans, projects and risks
  • Create a high-performance team culture across a direct and matrix managed information security team
  • Work collaboratively with Compliance, Risk, Corporate IT, Product Security and Engineering teams to implement information security plans
  • Identify, asses, monitor and proactively address customer concern areas specifically related to information security
  • Mentor and guide information security professionals, including holding performance reviews, suggesting career development activities, and instilling the importance of customer focus and other best practices for those employees
  • Provide clear vision, strategies, support, and expectations to ensure employees are able to learn, grow and expand their skills, perspectives and experiences to help grow JAMF Software
  • This position requires U.S. Citizenship because the position will work on government contracts for federal agencies that require such citizenship.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 Years Information Technology (Required)
  • Minimum of 5 Years Information security / cybersecurity (Required)
  • Minimum of 2 Years Leading teams responsible for information security execution in a public cloud environment (Required)
  • Minimum of 8 years previous experience leading leaders (Required)
  • Past experience directly leading a global cyber security operations center (Preferred)
  • Past experience leading integration efforts as a part of M&A activities (Preferred)
  • Ability to communicate complex technical terms in an easy to understand, non-technical manner
  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers in a result driven culture
  • Self-starter, energetic multi-tasker, highly motivated and team player
  • Ability to engage with and establish trust and rapport with all levels of customers and employees

Education & Certifications:

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (Required)
  • Graduate / Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field (Preferred)
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
  • Preferred Certifications/Licensures: (Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other relevant security designation, ISC2 Certified Security Professional (CCSP) or other relevant cloud security designation)
