Is that you?Our team is looking for someone that is passionate about data, a self starter, highly organized, analytical and have a strong eye for detail. Your data infrastructure vision & strategy will help our team scale and set us up for success in the future. You will be the leader who understands data at Atlassian, knows where to find it, and executes the process to make that data actionable. You love thinking about the ways the business can benefit from this data and then figuring out how to build data-informed applications. You will have access to an analytics platform (built on Amazon Web Services) to build new data services, improve our processes and experiment with machine learning algorithms.As part of the FP&A Data and Analytics team, you'll be responsible for a problem end-to-end, and will be tasked with not only to collect, extract, and clean the data, but also to understand the systems that generated it, and automate your analyses and reporting. On an on-going basis, you'll be responsible for improving the data quality, extracting new data sources, solving complex data problems, and producing new metrics that support the business.More about youYou love working a job that can change at a moments notice. With strong stakeholder engagement skills, you are able to juggle competing priorities and deliver on deadlines.Your background-5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or other quantitative field-Advanced proficiency in SQL-Strong programming skills (some combination of Python, JavaScript and Java. Python highly preferred)-Experience collaborating with senior management and translating insights into decisions and actions-Proficiency with data visualization best practices and tools such as Tableau-Familiarity partnering with multiple business functions.
