We're looking for a dynamic HRBP who can partner with Atlassian Engineering leadership to help us scale and deliver services to our teams. In your role, you will help to build a business team by solving problems, curating development for leaders and architecting the culture of the teams you support. You will report to the Regional HR Manager. Our HR Partners guide the business and constructively challenge leadership, employees and HR partners for purposes of improving outcomes or processes and mentor all levels of management. You will improve leader capability through 1:1 mentoring and focused organisational interventions. At the end of the day, we also see you measuring revenue of people practices and solutions implemented to help us build the best possible workplace we can for our outstanding Atlassians.

In this role:

    • Partner with central HR functions, you'll create strategies and plans for FY24 and beyond.
    • Support your client groups by influencing Engineering managers and build the Engineering HR strategy.
    • Partner with People Managers through core HR programmes (performance management, compensation planning), providing insightful analytics and recommending actions to clients, and partnering with other HR areas to initiate HR solutions.
    • Advocate for our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies into talent acquisition, manager development, employee experience, and organisational health.
    • In partnership with People Analytics tools provide insightful analytics, trends, and recommended actions to clients to guide planning, programme design and measures of success.

On your first day, we will expect that:

    • You have HR experience with progressively challenging responsibilities in Business Partner roles inclusive of high-growth companies
    • 4+ years of experience working with global/international teams expanding into emerging markets, while excelling in high growth, global organisations.
    • You collaborate with the ability to quickly work with leadership teams, partners, and important partners.
    • Have an iterative approach and willingness to jump from strategy to development to change management to grow programmes aimed at driving outcomes.
    • Have excellent business storytelling skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to translate "HR speak" and data insights into an accessible, influential narrative.
    • You are analytic-minded with success in developing data-driven solutions to the business.
    • Business-first mindset with an ability to work at multiple levels of the HR stack; focused on strategic impact while being comfortable driving programmes linked to clear outcomes.
