Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.As we expand our Atlassian footprint in India in mid-2022, we can recruit eligible candidates for this role who are located anywhere in India.We are looking for an experienced HRBP manager, to lead a team of Regional HRBPs located in India and Turkey. You will partner with Atlassian leadership across Engineering and HR to help us scale and transform in service of advancing business outcomes and scaling growth, especially in the India region. Our teams in the region are continuing to improve, adapt, and scale in tandem with Atlassian's growth. You will be an integral leader in the HR Partner team reporting to the Lead Regional HRBP for APAC.About Regional HRBPs:Regional HRBPs are trusted advisors to a region/site's leadership team. They provide HR partnerships for regions they support and work with leaders and managers on a variety of issues including - strategic workforce planning, capability development planning, and site-specific culture development, among other things.Regional HR Partners also work with their FBO/Functional HRBP peers to design and deliver site-specific people initiatives and implement company-wide and site-specific programs.

What you'll do:

    • Lead a team of Regional HRBPs for Engineering in India and Turkey to achieve the team's charter
    • Partner with Engineering Leadership to develop Regional People Strategy with care for the vision and longer-range People team priorities.
    • Work with HRBPs, COE partners to deliver on talent strategy and operational plans, and core HR programs
    • Drive organizational design, workforce planning, and change management as we continue to grow
    • Be an anchor for topics including leadership development, performance management, talent management, and capability building
    • Build a culture of inclusion by infusing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies across all stages on the employee lifecycle
    • Coach senior leadership through organizational issues, talent strategies, and leadership development.
    • Surface and solve local people challenges and site requirements
    • In some regions, oversee and conduct investigations and ensure compliance with practices, and Federal, State, and local employment laws

Your background:

    • 10+ years HR experience with progressively challenging responsibilities in Business Partner and leadership roles inclusive of high-growth companies.
    • 3+ years experience working in SaaS with senior leadership
    • 3+ years experience leading a team of HRBPs to work on HR programmes, and priorities
    • Experience working with global/international teams expanding into new markets, excelling in high growth environments while driving a balance between regional priorities and global priorities
    • Highly collaborative approach
    • Ability to define the right problem statements, and solve them in an iterative manner with willingness to jump from strategy to development to change management
    • Business-first mindset with an ability to work at multiple levels of the HR stack; focused on strategic impact while being comfortable driving programmes linked to clear outcomes.
