Program Manager, Cloud Infrastructure

Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.Your future team:Teams building Atlassian's major cloud products and platforms all rely on a reliable platform to manage their code from development to production, while maintaining code quality and deployment practices. Cloud Infrastructure is the team that builds tools and platforms on which Atlassian products are built.You'll join our Tenant Platform organisation within the Cloud Infrastructure department at Atlassian. Tenant Platform is core to allowing the concept of multi tenancy in our cloud architecture. We provide a platform used by all of Atlassian's products which enables concepts such as the creation of new tenancy at signup, management of the tenant lifecycle (licence changes, product suspension, deletion, etc), and data residency.

What you'll do:

• Program management:
• Manage technical programs of medium to large cross-functional scope, from end to end
• Manage high complexity dependencies and risks between teams, by aligning stakeholders and escalating
• Report success metrics for programs including major risks
• Help provide clarity in the management of budgets (e.g. software services and contractors) for the engineering craft
• Technical delivery and leadership:
• Scale leadership by managing multiple technical and operational focused programs
• Contribute to strategy within the product area
• Apply technical knowledge to and close technical discussions with principal engineers and architects to unblock program outcomes
• Build understanding between your program's technical direction, the business' market strategy and Atlassian's technical strategy
• Collaborate on projects across the Platform and outside Cloud Infrastructure

Your background:

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in a similar Program or Project Management role, within cloud environments
• Experience leading Agile programs across multiple teams, and managing Program schedules
• Experience making decisions to keep projects on track, managing risks and dependencies, and evolved program management standards and operational processes
• Experience building tools, dashboards and automation to increase transparency and reduce toil
