Then consider joining the AWS Worldwide Specialist Organization for Security.As a Threat Detection and Monitoring Content Specialist, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver content to help customers within the enterprise, SMB, and startup communities build their cloud computing and security skillsets as they adopt broader use of the AWS Cloud. Your responsibilities will include helping to define key target personas, creating the necessary internal and external enablement materials for those personas, and enabling the sales and field team with materials that help them build long-term business opportunities that meet customers where they are.The ideal candidate will have a content creation background that enables them to understand and speak to customers at the CxO/VP level, as well as technical content creation experience that enables them to adapt messaging and materials to software developers and architects. This candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges as well as the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. Experience working cross-organizationally to build consensus on threat detection and management content will be key for this role and a keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must.Key job responsibilities
- Serve as key member of Threat Detection and Monitoring Security Specialist team, helping to create content that supports overall AWS market and technical strategy.
- Create content for the AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticals we target.
- Set a strategic go-to-market content plan for target markets and ensure it is in line with the AWS strategic direction.
- Execute the strategic go-to-market content plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g., sales teams, service teams, legal, support, etc.)
- Create content that enables sales and field teams to communicate the specific value proposition for their business and use case.
- Measure effectiveness of internal and external content efforts to ensure they are provide the technical resources that customers need to successfully use AWS services
- Create content that helps amplify best practices, patterns, and state-of-the-art techniques broadly within the AWS customer base.
- Understand and use internal Amazon systems to analyze customer content consumption patterns.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience curating, creating, and measuring sales both enablement and customer-facing content
- Minimum 5 years content creation experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Broad content creation background covering threat detection and monitoring security and core distributed computing concepts, fundamentals of cloud computing and virtualization, storage systems, etc.
- Experience creating content for Fortune 1000 and/or Global 2000 organizations
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is key
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $176,100 - $238,200/yr.; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on market location.
