You won’t regret it.The Platform Operations Administrator is responsible for maintenance and administration of assigned applications, SQL databases, middleware, integration, and runtime platforms. This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of solutions and business processes related to these platforms. The position will report directly to the Platform Operations Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Primary administrative responsibility for the SQL databases, middleware, integration, and runtime platforms
- Ensure we are meeting SOC and other security requirements.
- Follow and maintain data security policies and practices.
- Tune and optimize performance across all production systems.
- Implement and maintain configuration management.
- Support and resolve discovered issues.
- Actively participate in system security initiatives.
- Validate, develop, and/or maintain documentation for internal development projects.
- Participate and/or lead new system application and platform deployments and upgrades.
- Debug/recommend/develop/implement changes to solution code where necessary.
- Possess general knowledge and background with servers and infrastructure.
- Maintain knowledge of industry solutions and recommend where applicable.
- Maintain confidentiality of the information being processed, stored, or accessed by the end-users on the network.
- Work with business analyst team on requirements review and test case modeling.
- Follow development practices according to Marco requirements and industry standards.
- Ensure change management is being followed and documented.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree and six years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current high level industry recognized certifications including one or more of the following: MTA, MCSA or MCSE preferred.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft data platform technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft development platforms.
- Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications and Visio.
