IT Audit & Compliance Manager

You are: The IT Audit and Compliance Manager will serve as a team member supporting Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) financial IT compliance and audit readiness goals through a variety of work efforts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with system application owners and the internal controls group to assess, define and implement SOX IT system controls at the application, server and database level.
  • Conduct operational control reviews, execute monitoring of key controls, develop and implement process improvement activities to mature key IT system control families that include but are not limited to: 
    • access control and associated reviews at the application, server and database level,
    • change management, and
    • logging & monitoring.
  • Assess and document SOC report evaluations of AFS third party vendors.
  • Ensure successful internal and external audit assessment response by preparing AFS IT stakeholders, creating and reviewing sample PBCs for submission and in a liaison capacity between AFS and Internal Controls
  • Additional activities include the updating and reviewing of key IT financial system procedural documents e.g. accounting manuals, annual body of evidence.

Here's what you need: 

  • 10+ years of IT Audit and Compliance experience.
  • Experience managing and performing audit functions (internal or external) around IT controls and key financial management systems to produce auditable financial statements.
  • Candidates must have financial system audit readiness, response, or remediation experience for a commercial or government entity.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
  • Demonstrated leadership and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

A bonus if you have: 

  • Knowledge of system controls, networking, cloud environments and cybersecurity
  • Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) IT audit skills
  • Understanding of accounting system processing and interfaces, specifically ERP systems
  • 10 years of experience in one or more of the following: internal controls, auditing and/or financial management

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.   

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:

California: $103,500-$204,500

Colorado: $103,500-$176,700

New York: $95,800-$204,500

Washington State: $110,200-$188,100
