Inside Sales Representative - INJob Profile Summary Provide direct support to the assigned Client Executives in the ongoing development of existing and new Rackspace customers, to ensure that the department is able to meet its growth targets. Responsible for supporting sales across the Rackspace portfolio against a set base of accounts and/or prospects.Key Responsibilities •Identify decision makers within targeted accounts to begin effective prospecting campaigns. Call on prospective buyers in existing customer base / contacts inside existing account base as a source of lead generation. •Cross sell into all targeted accounts and generate leads / opportunities from within client base. Create and deliver qualified cross sell opportunities to field Strategic Account Executives as dictated by ROE. •Support the sales process by entering quotes into QM, tracking down pricing, technical and legal approvals, editing quotes (as legal requests), closing out won contracts, and clearing CVP kickbacks. •Manage any small dollar upgrade opportunities initiated by support that need sales support in order to provide a quote or contract. •Assist in other marketing activities to expand share of wallet such as account research, identification of “white space” for cross selling opportunities. •Invite and follow up on various field-marketing events to promote Rackspace across our install base. •Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, and other events. •Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales activities. •Handle inbound, reactive customer calls and convert them into sales opportunities. •Overcome objections. Describe product/service features and benefits and how they relate to the business need / problem. •Prepare contracts, statements of work and proposals. •Negotiate level 1 legal terms and conditions. •Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position. •Assist sales representatives in identifying internal resources for deal support. •Commercial and Enterprise customers. •Interacts and sells to mid and upper level management. •Decisions primarily impact own team and may begin to interact with other areas in the organization as part of business process workflows. •Learns to use good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. •Works on assignments and problems of limited scope requiring limited judgement and initiative, using standard practices and procedures. •Completes highly transactional work where learning is applied to new situations. •Analyzes information, asks questions and checks for understanding using standard procedures and processes. •Applies acquired skills and experience to complete basic and routine tasks.\ •Continues to develop skills and expertise in functional area. •May suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team. •Builds stable internal working relationships. •Collaborate with Client Executives and sales leader to ensure work activities align with customer sales strategy. •Meets quota/metric expectations for revenue, contact, and lead generation. •Manages data for clients in company’s CRM, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached. •Regularly update monthly forecast and respective activities associated to current and future pipeline. •Maintain and expand Rackspace database of prospects. •Attend periodic sales training and enablement sessions.About Rackspace TechnologyWe are the multicloud solutions experts.
