IAM Microsoft Azure Technical Lead (Contractor Role)

Job Responsibilities

• Technical consultancy on the Azure environment specifically in relation to Identity and Access management practices and controls.
• Working collaboratively with various engineering teams across the organisation to effectively define strategic IAM architecture.
• Build, support and provide ongoing maintenance for custom feeds into an internal compliance database. 

Technical Skills

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services, including security-related services.
• Experience with implementing and maintaining security controls in Azure, such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, firewall rules, access controls, encryption, and threat protection.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance requirements, and industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.
• Experience with security and compliance assessments and audits, and ability to identify and remediate security risks.
• Knowledge of network security and experience with securing network connections, such as VPN and virtual networks.
• Experience with identity and access management in Azure, including managing and maintaining roles, permissions, and policies.
• Knowledge of security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
• Ability to develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure secure and compliant cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Familiarity with cloud-native security solutions, such as Azure Sentinel, and security partners on the Azure Marketplace.
