IAM iSeries/AS400 Technical Lead (Contractor Role)

Job Responsibilities

• Technical consultancy on iSeries (AS400) environments specifically in relation to Identity and Access management practices and controls.
• Working collaboratively with various engineering teams across the organisation to effectively define strategic IAM architecture
• Build, support and provide ongoing maintenance for custom feeds into an internal compliance database. 

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS400) systems architecture, hardware and operating system.
• Proficiency in RPG, CL, and COBOL programming languages.
• Knowledge of database management systems, specifically DB2/400.
• Familiarity with IBM iSeries security, performance tuning, and backup/recovery procedures.
• Experience with IBM iSeries hardware and software.
• Knowledge of IBM iSeries network and communication protocols, including TCP/IP and SNA.
• Experience with IBM iSeries application development, including integration with other systems.
• Knowledge of IBM iSeries web-based technologies, such as IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
• Good communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team of technical professionals.
