We manage Atlassian's service management portfolio and its flagship solution: Jira Service Management.Reporting to the Group Program Manager (IT Solutions), you will lead a team of passionate program managers to deliver highly complex, cross-functional R&D programs across our IT Operations organisation, and contribute to broader enhancement of Atlassian's program management craft.
What you'll do:
- People leadership:You'll lead a team of skilful technical program managers, inspiring and growing this team to ensure team health and delivery of our most important work.
- Strategic and operational planning:You'll own IT Service strategic and operational planning and enable your team's high-quality delivery for the broad portfolio of outcomes. You will create pathways for R&D teams to connect, interpret, and deliver across complex cross-department dependencies (e.g. platform teams).
- Complex portfolio delivery: You'll manage a growing and complex portfolio of work to ensure end-to-end execution across multiple levels of management, functions, and organisations.
- Craft and Change leadership: You'll be a senior member of Atlassian's program management team, defining and leading transformation in how we work across Atlassian. You'll influence and contribute to the tools and structures at a company-wide level, applying industry standard best practices.
- Communication for impact: high level reporting including clear communications on priorities.
We'd love for you to have:
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience in program management/product/software development
- Experience running department-wide portfolios requiring collaboration across a broad set of partners and participants.
- A track record of leading a world-class team of highly engaged program managers, able to scale through a period of continued high growth.
- Experience driving high performing cross-functional leadership team and building strong stakeholder relationships
- Experience applying Agile methodologies and the ability to draw upon best practices, patterns and agile frameworks to build pathways for autonomous, empowered, and lasting teams for a Future Atlassian.
