By unlocking their ability to rely on our products, we enable them to unleash the potential of their teams.As a Group Product Manager on the Enterprise Cloud team, you'll lead multiple teams - including a growing cohort of Product Managers - responsible for giving Atlassian's customers the tools and confidence they need to control their data. Currently this spans experiences and platforms including Data Residency, Backup & Restore, Sandboxes, Cloud-to-Cloud migrations - it'll be up to you and your team to build a vision and a roadmap to take us forwards.You and your team will work hands on with every function in the company, from engineering and design to sales, partnerships, ecosystem, legal, risk & compliance and support to develop platforms, processes and features, take them to market, and improve them over time.This role requires partnering with your team of PMs to build a thorough understanding of data management needs for cloud software, the ability to ruthlessly prioritize them, and the technical know-how to partner closely with cross disciplinary teams to execute on the roadmap you define. You will be responsible for giving Atlassian cloud customers of all shapes, sizes, and industries control over their own data, with particular focus on our largest and most complex customers.Key to this position is growing and developing your team of Product Managers to do the best work of their lives, and deliver amazing outcomes for our users, customers, partners and the company.You will identify new opportunities for Atlassian, define product strategy, own end-to-end development of your roadmap, and partner daily with teams across multiple disciplines. You and your team of PMs will be subject matter experts within Atlassian. Most of all, you will impact millions of users and thousands of partners for decades to come, unleashing the potential in all of them.

More about you:

• Minimum 10+ years of PM experience,A love for developing and mentoring Product Managers both individually and as part of a cohesive outcome-oriented team
• Passion and ability to coach and guide teams so they can understand the big picture and how their work fits in
• A strong track record of growing high performing teams that hit their goals
• Communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills for the purpose of interacting with a wide variety of people and functions with a track record of building relationships and influencing without authority at all levels of the organisation
• Creativity in problem solving combined with an anything is possible attitude. You are comfortable navigating dependencies and stakeholders to achieve outcomes
• Ability to think in a platform mindset both long term strategically as well as get engaged in the day to day execution detail
• Good instincts matched with deep analytical thinking that can marry the qual and quant. You can rapidly understand complex systems and gather and assess meaningful insights and share the results. Naturally inquisitive, you love digging deeper to truly understand why

In this role, you will:

• Own our overall data portability strategy, bringing together technical, commercial and legal requirements
• Drive cross-cutting initiatives in engineering and product development to meet regulatory controls
• Work with our partners, sales, support, and customer success teams to maximize the impact of what your teams build

As the Product Management leader for Data Portability you will be:

• Leading the vision, strategy and execution for critical parts of Enterprise Trust Foundations
• Giving Atlassian cloud customers of all shapes, sizes, and industries control over their own data, with particular focus on our largest and most complex customers.

• Learnings from the front-lines of Product Management over many years, have nailed hard problems, and have years of experience of inspirationally imparting that knowledge to your PM teams via effective frameworks and stories.
• You know how to get the best from a team of product managers with accountability for multiple streams of work across teams and programs with complex roadmaps.
• You know how to communicate intricate, complex large-scale plans in a succinct and compelling manner to the highest levels in the company.
• Extensive product management experience of 7+ years, with 2+ years of people management experience
• Experience developing a high-level product strategy and roadmap that can span multiple years, communicating it to executive leadership, building and rallying a cross-functional team behind it
• A proven ability to encourage your teams to build better products with a constant dedication to understand, question, and improve experiences for our users and customers
• An obsession for customers and working directly with design and engineering to ship fabulous products
• You are a great human being, value all those you work with and you seek first to understand with real empathy.
