About the role

In the role of Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager, we are looking for someone with the vision and skills to build the evolution of our governance risk and compliance team. You will define a framework and implement technology to support a comprehensive enterprise security program, including governance, risk, and compliance. You will ensure we are designing and evolving technologies in consideration of employee needs, supporting long-range strategy, projects across Crunchyroll globally. We ask that you have a partnership across Crunchyroll's teams, including Legal, Finance, Engineering, IT, People, Workplace Experience, Trust & Safety, and third party contractors, and suppliers.

Daily you will:

• Collaborate with technology and partners to interpret needs on compliance programs
• Ensure compliance with controls and regulatory requirements including PCI, SOX, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and other required controls.
• Enhance, implement, and monitor controls
• Demonstrate experience of security principles and control frameworks
• Lead with earned respect and influence across the organization
• Build and lead a team of analysts

In the role of Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager, you will report to the Senior Vice President, IT and Security.

We are considering applicants for the location(s) of Dallas, Culver City and SanFrancisco.

About You

• You have 5+ years of experience in information security and Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
• You have experience leading the conversation in a PCI Merchant Level 1 environment.
• You have experience leading the conversation in a SOX/J-SOX environment.
• You have experience with one or more security frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, CIS.
• You have one or more security certifications such as CRISC, PCI QSA, CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
• You are data driven.
• You enjoy diving into the details, formulating a plan, and communicating that plan at the strategic and detailed levels across the organization.
• You convert priorities and values into relevant solutions.
• You envision a long-term strategy and define a roadmap to success.
• You are comfortable with doing hands-on work as you build your team and afterwards.
• You have demonstrated experience maintaining working relationships across all levels of an organization and with a variety of external partners.
• You prioritize and complete large projects in a globally distributed environment.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, employer matched retirement savings, time-off programs, and progressive health benefits and perks.Pay Transparency - Culver City, CA$103,000—$129,000 USD
