Fullstack Engineer, FieldOps Technology

Must-have skills:

• 3 to 8 Years of Technology experience in designing and building production-level large-scale web applications.
• Hands-on with design. Ability to craft public APIs, coupled with a passion for writing clean code.
• Advanced knowledge of Core Java 11 and J2EE, Spring all modules, JPA, Hibernate, RDBMS, NoSQL, SQL, Maven, Gradle, GraphQL.
• Advanced knowledge of UI - HTML, CSS, Javascript - React, Redux, JQuery, and more.
• Intermediate to Advance knowledge of Integrations, Microservices, and Design Patterns.
• AWS - Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Architecture, development, data services and operations.
• Docker basic knowledge
• DevOps - Basic knowledge – CI/CD, GitOps, DevSecOps, building pipelines from Scratch, Shell scripting.
• Basic knowledge of Event-driven Architecture development, Splunk and Observability Tools.

A plus to have:

• Working Knowledge - Jira, Confluence, Slack
• Jira Plugin Development,
• Atlassian suite knowledge on Bamboo and Bitbucket.
• Product development experience.
• Python, NodeJS, Kubernetes - Basics knowledge.
• Slack Workflows, Bots, APIs and Automation
• Workato, Jira Administration and Configuration.

Responsibilities:

• Independent and owns the end-to-end development of a feature, and contributes ideas for the larger scope/vision. Able to work and manage operations in production environments
• Engineering Excellence: Fully Hands-on with a Platform Engineering mindset, Incorporating best engineering practices and solving difficult problems. Thinks on all angles - upstream-downstream impacts, maintenance costs, performance, scaling, privacy, testing, future scope, enhancements, operations, alerts, monitoring, logging, and security by design. Actively contributes technical documentation.
• Quality : Delivers excellent quality functional, reusable, modular, maintainable clean code with tests suites of all kinds. Consistently applying and upgrading their understanding of best coding practices, architectural landscape and patterns, operational processes and business metrics.
• Estimations: Able to derive accurate estimates for the given tasks/assignments. Ability to break the technical task into smaller shippable outcomes.
• Consultation: Effective consultation with the stakeholders for presenting various options to solve a problem with pros-cons, and recommendations from an engineering standpoint.
• Excellent Communication: Ability to communicate written and oral very clearly with the internal-external teams, customers, leaders and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving with attention to details: Excellent analytical skills, Identifying the problem statements in technical space, customer-centric strategic thinking for deriving solutions, out-of-the-box thought process to tackle the customer problems and business problems with least effort and maximum outputs by technology innovations.
• Mentorship and Coaching: Mentors and coaches junior engineers and interns.
• Hiring: Participates in organization-level goals for hiring.
