Director of Information Security

Mindvalley is looking for an experienced Director of Information Security to work with the Mindvalley Executive team to lead information Security across the entire organization. 

Our Director of Information Security is responsible for overseeing the implementation, monitoring, and governance of the company's information security framework. They will partner closely with our Technology, Marketing,Operation teams and company executives, to build an information security strategy and roadmap for Mindvalley with high-quality standards, guidelines and controls that are regularly tested and reported and meets regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities 

• Develop and oversee the monitoring and continuous improvement of a risk-based comprehensive business-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity and availability of company's data and servers.
• Oversee the approval, training, and dissemination of policies, procedures, standards, controls, and guidelines
• Monitor industry trends and evolving threats with vulnerabilities, monitor control techniques
• Keep executives informed about related security risks and implications for the enterprise
• Compliance management to ensure the fulfilment of regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Act as liaison to third-party auditors during annual controls audits
• Oversee the overall framework of IT Security policies, standards and strategies.
• Develop business-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan

Requirements 

• Minimum 5 years experience in leading or managing information security teams
• Experience scaling a security program in a fast-paced environment. Ideal experience would be experience working at a start-up or a technology company that has gone through a period of fast growth.
• Experience in the Tech industry, E-commerce or E-learning is preferred.
• A high level of personal integrity, ability to professionally handle confidential matters and an appropriate level of judgment and maturity
• Experience managing C-Level stakeholders and managing complex phased projects
• Must speak and write excellent English.
