The role:
As our Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical part in the continued successful growth of WorkSpan. In this role, you'll work collaboratively with software engineering to manage our systems.
Your Responsibilities:
Manage Application operations and infrastructure in the cloud
Contribute to the evolving design and architecture of reliable and scalable infrastructure
Develop tools and scripts to monitor application
Create operation reports for the WorkSpan application, and website
Troubleshooting deployments, Log monitoring, and Log analysis
Manage data backups
Setup build and continuous integration environments
Identify and develop tools for improving engineering and operations efficiency
Manage Source Code repository, branching
Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments
Your Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of various cloud platforms - GCP/AWS/Azure
Container knowledge with Kubernetes
A 50/50 background in both Systems and Development (Experience in Python is a plus)
Prior experience with some or more of the following will be appreciated:
Infrastructure as code (terraform, ansible etc)
CICD (Jenkins, Spinnaker, ArgoCD, etc)
Monitoring & Alerting (OpsGenie, Pagerduty, Datadog, NewRelic, etc)
7+ years of cloud infrastructure experience
Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science from a Tier-1 college (B. E from IITs, BITS-Pilani, IIITs, top NITs, DTU, NSIT or MS in Stanford, UC, MIT, CMU, UW-Madison, ETH, top global schools) or exceptional work history is a requirement.
