Business Risk Senior Officer – SVP TTS Global Cyber Security & Technology Risk

Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) provides award-winning integrated cash management and trade finance services to multinational corporations, financial institutions, and public sector organizations across the world. TTS is seeking a Senior Vice President to join it’s Front Office Business Risk team as Senior Vice President of TTS Global Cyber Security & Technology Risk. This strategic thinking professional will closely follow the latest trends in cyber, technology and information security risk and expertly adapts them to manage Cyber Security & Technology risk across all TTS Products and Regions. The experienced risk leader will lead collaborative working groups and develop training products that serve to keep the TTS business executive leaders and senior risk leadership up to date on Cyber and Tech Risks.

As part of a holistic strategy to improve the client experience this cyber & tech risk leader will develop and deliver, in partnership with TTS Sales Account Management and the Citi CISO team, cyber client advisory engagement based on the current trends and best practices in cyber security.

Expert communication skills are required to engage with the most senior TTS clients and internal executives. Leadership and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in multiple risk categories and technical areas. Must have a background and experience to present to and discuss with executive customers and regulators on the industry standards for cyber and tech risk.Responsibilities:

  • Leads cross product and region cyber security and technology risk working groups to effect measurable improvement in TTS products
  • Establishes and oversees TTS Cyber & Technology risk training policies, tools, and governance processes to increase awareness of cyber and technology risks and improve response effectiveness during crisis events.
  • Manages regional, cross product and function cyber crisis response within TTS regional crisis management construct. Including management of cyber playbooks and conducting training and exercises with internal staff and supporting client and third-party cyber crisis preparation.
  • Identify gaps in training, then lead the development and delivery of training solutions to reduce cyber security and technology risks. Expected to challenge both historical and proposed practices and challenge the status quo and break paradigms
  • Create training and advisory products that help TTS Front office teams and our clients become more resilient to cyber and technology risks
  • Serves as a subject matter expert and advisor to TTS Executives and Executive level clients for Cyber, Information Security and Technology
  • Leverages trend analysis of existing KRI based cyber and technology scorecards to develop training materials to improve performance
  • Develops and maintains relationships across the business/product management and Lines of Defense to better understand and deliver customer requirements by responding to changes in the internal and external business environment
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years relevant experience
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills through all levels of the organization and with external partners and vendors. Exceptional relationship management skills; must be able to address and resolve conflict while maintaining relationships.
  • In depth knowledge of institutional client transaction processes and technology platforms. Ability to effectively communicate complex, technical topics to a broad audience.
  • Detailed oriented with analytical skills, as the role requires a large amount of data manipulation and presentation. Expert in Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Experience in internal and external cyber incident management including regulatory engagement preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • ISACA, Technology Risk and Cyber qualifications highly regarded (CISA, CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CRISC etc)
