Application Security Working Student

At Code Intelligence we empower DevSecOps! We are a fast-growing IT startup enabling companies to simplify their software testing processes. We want to become the number one automated cyber security testing platform. So far, we are on a good track - our platform CI Fuzz already secures customers such as Continental, Google, and Telekom. And they  have already reached a new level of application security testing and shipped more secure and stable software faster!

🔍 Currently, we are looking for a Application Security working student who will be a part of the Customer Success team. You will gain valuable insights into the practical work of fuzzing - from doing researches, reviewing and updating the documentation we have to assisting AppSec Engineers during their daily work. You will gain hands-on experience about fuzzing and learn how to set up and optimize fuzz tests to achieve the best results.

You will work hand-in-hand with the AppSec Engineers, from whom you will learn about fuzzing and thanks to whom you will gain practical knowledge and experience.

• Learning about fuzz testing 

• Reviewing and updating our existing documentation about fuzzing

• Learning how to write fuzz tests yourself

• Fuzzing our customer’s code and present the results

• Experiencing how DevOps and CI/CD work looks like

• Regular check-ins and feedback from your team to make sure you're gaining knowledge and experience

Requirements

✔️ What you bring to the table: 

Must-haves:

• Solid knowledge of Java and C/C++

• Experience in performing pentests or AppSec code reviews or solid coding experience in Java or C/C++

• Experience with the Linux operating system, especially working in terminal

• You have excellent English skills in speaking and writing

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge of other programming languages
• Experience with git
