Accountant II

JOB DESCRIPTION:We are seeking for an individual with a desire to learn and excel. As an Accounting Associate, you will be a part of the Accounts department. You will assist team lead, accounting manager and senior management in recording, reporting and managing company’s finances. You will also be required to provide administrative support and suggest ways for improving the overall accounting process of the company to team. Attention to detail and excellent communication / interpersonal skills are essential.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Key AccountabilitiesPerform month end closing activities and support Team lead, Accounting Manager for various complex entries relating to aboveManaging entire Payroll accounting for India Rackers (2700 Rackers)Preparing monthly reconciliations and ensure deadlines are met Liaison with various stakeholders to retrieve data required for month end activitiesPerform complex accounting analysis and general ledger activitiesAn expert in R2R process, good understanding of various workstreams and dependencies in the processAble to lead or play a significant role in complex accounting discussions.Define problem statements in various accounting areas and ensure issues are resolved from start to finish Lead projects to drive improvements/efficiencies of current processesPrepare monthly reconciliation of accounting GLs as assigned Provide support to the Team lead, Accounting Manager and business as the need arisesPERSON SPECIFICATION:  Educational Qualification Required: M.Com/CA InterMinimum Experience Required: 3-5 YearsCreative and collaborative team playerExcellent attention to detailExpert level Excel experience requiredSelf-starter, motivated to provide the highest possible level of responsiveness and performance as part of a teamOracle hand on Experience preferableShould have working knowledge of USGAAP and IndASAbout Rackspace TechnologyWe are the multicloud solutions experts.
