Strategic Marketing Operations Technology Manager

Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.The MOps Technology Manager provides digital and technology-driven thought leadership and solutions for a best-in-class MarTech and Data stack that support data driven omni-channel growth and Lifecycle Marketing efforts. This role requires collaborative leadership and demonstrated organizational, problem solving and communication skills. You will partner with a diverse set of stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Information Technology and Business Analytics teams to maximize functionality of our current marketing automation technology, while also suggesting areas of improvement and innovation.This role will develop innovative solutions to improve productivity, drive best practices in marketing automation, enable lead management enhancements, and manage data governance across systems to consistently refine and improve sales and marketing programs.If you get excited about marketing technology and building new businesses by partnering with teams across Atlassian, you'll love it here!

Responsibilities

    • Business Partnership: Gather business requirements and draft documentation outlining key needs and objectives. Collaborate with IT to translate these solutions into clearly articulated user stories, roadmap and implementation plans.
    • Analyze & improve MarTech stack: Analyze marketing technology current uses and gaps. Leverage findings to drive developing necessary features and enhancements.
    • Single View of the Audience: Lead the Customer 360 approach, prioritizing delivery, accessibility and UX to stakeholders. Collaborate with IT to Implement and adopt org-wide use of the CDP system and supporting marketing technologies.
    • Subject Matter Expert for Marketing: Serve as the SME for marketing technology solutions and internal software tools. Ensure appropriate change management, user training, project roll out and ongoing support of technology solutions. Translate recommendations to senior leadership to gain agreement and influence long term digital strategies.
    • Lead Lifecycle and Management: Work with marketing teams and business partners to design integrated journeys that are responsive to customer behaviors. Assist in managing the lead lifecycle - implement and optimize centralized lead scoring, qualification and processes for hand-offs to sales.
    • Project Management: Work closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure project & timelines are aligned with GTM strategic goals and overall data & analytics strategy. Partner with internal IT teams to ensure adherence to product release schedules and the overall roadmap.

Qualifications

    • 7+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, B2C lifecycle, and corresponding marketing technology stack.
    • Proficiency in SQL, REST APIs, Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Domo etc) and CDP are a BIG plus!
    • Strong technical understanding of Marketing Automation tools (Marketo/SFMC/Iterable etc), Salesforce CRM architecture and Analytics platforms (Google/Adobe Analytics).
    • Highly collaborative partner and thinker.
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
    • Expertise in business requirement gathering, and leading design and process workflow sessions.
    • Strong project management and organization skills, with heavy attention to detail.
    • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise lead generation standard methodologies.
