Sr. Network Security Engineer

Provide leadership and expertise for the network infrastructure Support, administration and installations/upgrades of network hardware and software.Support, administration and installations of firewall hardware and software.Troubleshooting network and firewall problems.Contacting and dealing with external suppliers (e.g. logging support calls, workingwith network consultants/Vendors).Knowledge & Experience:-* Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, Wireless, and SDWAN design and implementation.* Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general  network management best practices.* Work experience on cisco router/firewall/switches, Forigate Firewall, Netscaler load balancer.* Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience.* Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.* Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.* Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.* Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required.* Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.* Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.* Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.* Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.* Strong customer service orientation.* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.* Flexible and willing to work outside core business hours as required* Using the central document repository, to ensure knowledge sharing across the team and enable best practice.* Undertake and manage in depth troubleshooting activities and plan customer facing  activities under guidance* Investigate and help resolve issues on customer’s network and IT estates using agreed  troubleshooting methodologiesAbout Rackspace TechnologyWe are the multicloud solutions experts.
