This team owns apps that connect Atlassian core products like Jira, Confluence, and Trello with platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Slack.We are now increasing our investment in this space to cater to the scale and need for platformization that comes with these multiple points of integration.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate closely with other engineers, designers and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on great solutions
• Contribute to code reviews and documentation, and take on complex bug fixes
• Work on fast-moving projects, from the technical design, implementation, and launch to operation

Your background

• 4 years of experience building and developing backend applications.
• Experience creating and implementing scalable and performant Node JS micro-services
• Experience building services from the ground up is preferred – from gathering requirements, design, build, deploy, and ownership.
• Experience designing APIs, coupled with a passion for writing clean code.
• An operational excellence mindset.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree with a preference for Computer Science degree
