You can use apps to customize and extend your Atlassian product. The Marketplace offers apps developed by both Atlassian and third-party developers.It has been wildly successful: we surpassed $3 billion in lifetime revenue on the Atlassian Marketplace, and Over 70% of Jira Software and Confluence customers use at least one Marketplace app.We are now moving towards the mission to enable Every team to extend Atlassian products to unleash more potential. We are at a very exciting place right now where we are exploring various possibilities of expanding our horizons to think beyond just Marketplace apps to be hosted on our platform.

What you will do

• Work with development teams and product managers to brainstorm software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Build REST OR GraphQL APIs that power core customer experiences
• Build customer-facing UI components
• Build features and services with high reliability, performance and security standards
• Contribute to the betterment of the team codebase and architecture

Your Background

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Hands-on experience with multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Hands-on experience with multiple back-end languages (e.g. Kotlin, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. DynamoDB, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
• Strong experience performing platform integrations using REST / GraphQL
• Familiarity writing cross-browser compliant HTML & Sass/CSS
• Familiarity with server technologies
• Familiarity with the operational metrics and monitoring tools
• A love for working collaboratively on a team with varied strengths
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Great attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• An analytical mind
