Job DescriptionThe Integration Engineer's role is to ensure stable operations of the in-house/3rd parties data integrations among our systems. This includes planning, developing, configuring, supporting, optimizing, and documenting all new and current integrations.The Integration Engineer will work in conjunction with other/3rd party team members as needed to ensure new projects are completed in a timely and effective manner to fulfill Business requirements.
Responsibilities
- You assist in translating business requirements into technical requirements
- Design, enhance and maintain all integrations with 3rd parties.
- Develop testing plans and procedures for various levels of integration requirements and manage the test plans through completion.
- Implement and configure Integration for our Middleware Platform (Mulesoft/Workato).
- Conduct research on best practices to maintain a stable and secure integration environment.
- You execute in all aspects of the development life-cycle, manage production APIs and be part of a production on-call rotation schedule
Skills/Experience8+ years relevant Mulesoft experience with implementing service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) (like Salesforce)Designs and develops ESB/SOA middleware layers using tools like Mulesoft.Strong knowledge of EAI/SOA best practices, development methodologies & standards, and Development using SOA/EAI solutionsExperience with Mule administration, configuration, and tuningExperienced troubleshooting Mule ESB, including working with debuggers, flow analyzers, and configuration tools.Experienced in J2EE, Java Servlets, JMS, EJB, Design Patterns, Web Services, and building integration projects using any integration tool.Strong understanding of XML/SOAP/JSON message structures.Version control systems like Bitbucket, Github, or Gitlab and continuous integration pipelines using tools like Bamboo or JenkinsPrevious experience in other Integration tools like Workato will have added advantageExperience with AWS Cloud platforms
