Senior Frontend Engineer, Atlassian Marketplace

Atlassian is searching for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Marketplace Engineering group in India. The Atlassian Marketplace has been wildly successful: we surpassed $2 billion in lifetime revenue on the Atlassian Marketplace, and Over 70% of Jira Software and Confluence customers use at least one Marketplace app. We are now moving towards the mission to allow Every team to extend Atlassian products to unleash more potential. We are at a very exciting place right now where we are exploring several possibilities of expanding our horizons to think beyond just Marketplace apps to be hosted on our platform.

On your first day we will expect you to have:

• 8+ years of experience building and developing backend applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Effectively mentor junior team members to help them unleash their full potential
• Specialization in Javascript (ES6), HTML5, CSSExperience with modern Javascript frameworks (e.g., React, AngularJS, Vue)
• Experience with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Mocha, Chai)
• Deep understanding of front-end architecture and data-driven development

It is great but not required if you have:

• Have a good knowledge of UX and design
• Have a deep understaing of ReactJs, GraphQl & Relay.
• Experience applying static typing in Javascript (for example TypeScript or Flow)
• Know-how with regard to front-end tooling such as Webpack, Babel, ESlint, etc.
• Experience with large scale single-page web applications
• Operational experience – instrumenting code and monitoring the errors, metrics, and analytics of large-scale web applications.
